Hi my loves! I’m currently sitting here at my computer giddy with excitement to give you the news that we finally have Sephora online here in Australia!! We finally have access to so many amazing brands that were previously unattainable here in Australia. I was one of those people who would visit the Sephora US website & just wish that we had all these brands here, so when I heard the news I was literally jumping up and down with excitement haha.

So for those of you who used to shop at Luxola.com.au this website was recently acquired by Sephora & revamped as Sephora.com.au – which I think was a pretty cool thing to do, instead of creating a whole different website it’s pretty cool Sephora decided to just revamp a well known aussie site! When you jump on to the website a lot of you will notice that not all brands in the US Sephora are available just yet, but rest assured more brands will be added to the store in coming months. I know I’m most excited to get my hands on some products from Make Up For Ever, Sephora Collection, Anastasia Beverly Hills & Tarte (hopefully this brand will be added to the store soon!) I was lucky enough to be sent a few awesome products that I’ve never tried before (pictured) and also a couple I have already tried  I’ll post reviews down below & let you know how the rest go!

Make Up For Ever Aqua Matic ‘M-11’ & ‘I-90’

These Cream Shadows have such an opaque pigment, the formula is probably the most waterproof I have ever used, it’s fantastic! I swatched these on the back of my hand & ran it under water & it was so incredibly hard to get these off, had to whip out my Coconut oil haha. I personally love using these shadows as bases to my eye looks, they stay put, do not smudge or crease & last a really long time. They don’t come off unless you want them to! – I use any type of oil, usually Coconut Oil to remove these effectively. Definitely a must try if you’re looking for something long wearing, smudge proof, crease proof or waterproof.

Sephora Scented Toffee Spray ‘Chocolate Praline’

This was such an interesting product to me. I love chocolate & I love perfume, so both of these mixed together would make heaven in a bottle, right? It sure is for the avid chocolate lover. It smells like a beautiful blend of milk chocolate & toffee I just want to pour if all over a nice bowl of vanilla ice-cream haha. It is quite a strong scent, which may not appeal to everyone. It’s perfect to lightly spray on your wrists for a sweet scent, but I wouldn’t go too crazy with it, as it is very strong. I love the convenience of the 10ml (0.33fl.oz), its the perfect size to just keep in your handbag, while you’re on the go.

Sephora Glossy Lip Pencil ’50 Glossy Pale Pink’

For my gals & guys that love a glossy lip, this ones for you! This shade is the perfect natural blush shade, suits pretty much everyone. A shade like this is a staple in everyones collection, not too pink or too nude, just perfect. The glossy finish of this lip pencil isn’t too over the top – it’s just the perfect amount of shine. Love being able to have glossy lips without the stickiness of a lipgloss – we all know how annoying it is to have our hair sticking to our lips, a major pet peeve & turn off when wearing lipgloss. It lasts a decent amour of time, a couple of hours, but leaves a really nice colour to your lips when the gloss does fade off. Your lips are also left feeling plump & moisturised, really loved this product.

When you get the opportunity definitely jump online & check out Sephora.com.au – let me know your thoughts! I cant wait to see what other brands get added in coming months!

● Korean Skincare – My experience ●

I absolutely love trying out new skincare. Taking care of your skin is SUPER important! For the past month I’ve changed up my typical routine & have incorporated some new skincare products from the website ANIQA which stocks mainly Korean brands. I’ve kept track of this & I thought it’d be a good idea to let you guys know how my experience with Korean Skincare went!

– Cleansing & Toning-

IMG_9505First products used were the CREMORLAB Gentle Foaming Cleanser & the Mineral Treatment Essence Toner. I have extremely dry skin, so typically when I use any form of cleanser I break out or my skin goes even drier. That wasn’t the case with these, I would cleanse my face morning & night & my skin was left feeling soft, fresh & most importantly hydrated! I love when pumping out the liquid cleanser it came out as a foam! My skin lookedso fresh after using these! Another toner I was switching between was the Be The Skin Botanical Nutrition Power Toner. This toner was a little thicker in consistency than most, but it left my skin feeling super hydrated with a beautiful gloIMG_9499w.

-Hydrating/Moisturising-

IMG_9495I’ve been using a few products for this. Sometimes all at once & sometimes I’ll only apply one of them. The first is the MIZON Original Skin Energy Hyaluronic Acid 100. This always leaves my skin feeling super hydrated, soft & firm. I apply a few dots of this to my face with the dropper & massage thoroughly into my face. I also have been loving the CREMORLAB Snow Falls Melting cream. Such a unique formula, it’s super thick in the jar, but the minute you put it on the back of your hand & move it around it melts into this beautiful, pearlescent cream. This when applied, feels so silky, leaves my skin extremely plumped & fresh, it is a little sticky, but the dewy glow left on my skin makes up for it haha. I went to bed after applying this cream, and woke up to amazingly hydrated, IMG_9502smooth skin (something that never happens) absolutely love it.

-Eye Cream-

The only eye cream I’ve been using is the CREMORLAB Shadow-Off Eye cream, such an awesome little invention! This little jar of Magic is full of amazing nutrients for the skin, since I’ve been using this, my dark circles have gotten lighter (you guys have noticed this too! This is my secret!) & also the wrinkles around my eyes have gotten softer. Best.Thing.EVER

IMG_9491

Overall, I absolutely loved these products, I’m still using them daily! I have found Korean Skincare to be pretty different to the usual. From texture, to ingredients & formualtions – this is definitely a positive as I have found these products to be more effective than a lot of the products I buy from the stores. I highly recommend trying them out yourself, if you’re looking for good skincare. All these products can be purchased from the ANIQA (click for link) website.

How to correct Acne, Dramatic Glam – Product Breakdown

Acne is a very common problem among people of all ages. One of the most asked questions I get as a Makeup Artist is how I conceal acne blemishes & how I make the coverage last. Below is an example & complete product breakdown of a recent glam session with a good friend of mine (thank you Tihana for allowing me to use your before & after images).

*Please bare in mind this glam is not meant for everyday, this was a full glamour evening look created to last all day & night, again NOT for everyday wear – although if you wanted to you totally could :)*

Processed with Moldiv

Fist step & the most important is skin care. You want to make sure that the skin is well hydrated but not greasy, so you want to use a light moisturiser that is not too heavy on the skin. I started off by using the Embroylisse Lait-Creme Concentrete Moisturiser. On top of that I applied the Make Up For Ever Base Matifiante Mattifying Primer this is one of my favourite primers for oily skin as it completely mattifies the skin & is long lasting. I applied this to her whole face, avoiding the under eyes. For the under eyes I applied the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Creme, it is important to keep the under eyes well hydrated as it helps the appearance of fine lines, dark circles & cakey conceler.

embryolisse-lait-creme-concentre-en mufebb2

For the base, I first corrected the redness of the acne with a green concealer, I used the green in the Make Up For Ever 5 Camouflage Cream Concealer Palette. I then applied the foundation for which I mixed small amounts of the  Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet, Make Up For Ever HD & Estee Lauder Double wear (all are full coverage foundations, but using small amounts of each). For her under eye highlight I first used a small amount of the Kryolan Dermacolor Concealer in the shade ‘D3W’ to correct the slight darkness under her eyes, I then mixed a small amount of the Keyyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer in the shade SX07 & a small amount of the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ‘Ginger’ & applied that to her under eyes, chin & forehead & blended that out with a damp beauty blender. I set that all in place with the Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Powder, using the ‘baking/cooking’ method. To contour I first used the Bobbi Brown Foundation stick in ‘Walnut’ & blended that out. I went over that with the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, applied MAC Mineralize Blush in ‘Warm Soul’ & lastly for the highlight I used the Mary-Loumanizer by the balm.

For the eyes, I started off with the MAC Paintpot in’ Soft Ochre’. I applied the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in ‘Bourbon’ as a base for the eyeshadow. The eyeshadows used were all from the Stila in the know palette & the Stila Eyes Are The Window ‘Soul’ palette. In the inner corners I applied Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow ‘Cosmic’ to open up her eyes & add a little extra glamour. I also Used Makeup Geek Gel Liner ‘Immortal’ to create a winged liner & the Illamasqua gel liner for her waterline, as it’s wateproof Lashes used were Modelrock Lashes #52

On the Lips I Used MAC Lip Liner in ‘Spice’ & the Sportsgirl Lip Chalk in ‘Sandstorm’.

For the brows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder in ‘Dark Brown’ and the Australia clear brow gel.

TRESemme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Collection Review

Hi loves! Hope you’ve all been doing well! As women we are obsessed with keeping our hair in tip top shape. We do the most to get our hair looking like we’ve just walked out of a salon. Needless to say we spend hours (time we don’t have haha) trying to achieve perfect, smooth hair. Don’t you just wish you could wake up in the morning & not have to spend a tumulus amount of time trying to make that fuzzy mess look half decent?  I myself have relatively frizzy hair, it’s quite straight for the most part but frizzy – which let’s be honest, none of us can stand! Seriously, what’s the point in spending all that time making your hair look dope only to have it frizz within 5 minutes -.-  Come on yo! I’ve been on the hunt for some products that can help tame this mane of mine, and I think I may have found ‘The One’!

For the past week I have been trialling the TRESemme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Collection. This claims to give you salon- smooth hair that lasts 7 days, up to 4 washes, eliminates frizz to help make everyday styling easy – sounded promising! So I decided to give this a go. Honestly, before trying I thought this would be just another one of those products that promises you amazing results but doesn’t deliver those great results. Was I wrong? I sure was, this collection delivered everything it promised to do, smooth hair, less frizz, easy styling & salon quality hair.

So how this works is you wash your hair with the TRESemme Keratin Smooth shampoo & conditioner as you normally would with any other brand,  after you towel dry your hair apply the Keratin Smooth Heat activated treatment. Then, you blow dry your hair & straighten to activate the treatment. It’s a couple of extra steps, but the results are awesome. I found that straight away my hair was a lot less frizzy, super smooth, shiny & it just looked super luscious! I washed my hair a couple of times without using the treatment again & still, my hair stayed the same, no frizz & super smooth! Here’s a before & after from the past & days using this collection:

IMG_6278

I treated my hair the same way in both images, just ran a blow drier though it after washing it. You can see there is a lot less frizz, my hair looks smooth, as though it has been blow dried professionally. Definitely salon quality products. I am really happy with the results & I do plan to continue using the TRESemme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Collection! An amazing plus is that these products are super affordable, they can be purchased from any Priceline store, I’ll leave a link HERE: TRESemme x Priceline

Have you guys used this collection before? What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear your guys’ thoughts in the comments!

Bridal Photo shoot Makeup Breakdown Pt 1

IMG_4775

This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of working on an awesome photo shoot for a project my friend Kristina (@kykhair on the gram) is working on. She is creating an educational hairstyling book & I had the pleasure of working on the bridal portion of the book.

Now talking bridal makeup, I love playing with all different styles. Most of my bridal clients request heavy, glamorous eyes (as that is what I’m known for) but some will request a much softer look (will be shown in my next post). The first look I created on my model Katerina, was quite simple. Simple winged liner, subtle smoked shadow, full lashes, and bare lower lash line, with of course, a flawless base. I later transitioned this into one of my signature looks, a catty arabic eye. Here is a full product breakdown:

FullSizeRender

FullSizeRender-2

For the first look I first prepped the skin with the Embroylisse Lait Creme & also applied the Kielh’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum underneath & around her eyes. I almost always do the eyes first, for this I used MakeupGek Eyesahdows Peach Smoothie, Cocoa Bear, Bada Bing & Corrupt,  M.A.C Naked Pigment on the lid, Make Up For Ever Aqua Black Gel Liner. Lashes used were Moderock Lashes Miss Chicago double layered lashes. For the Face I used Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation mixed with Camouflage Cosmetics foundation, Kryolan Dermacolor Concealer, Anastasia Beverly Hills Concealer, Set with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder (also used to ‘Bake’), Bobbi Brown Foundation stick ‘Almond’, M.A.C Studio Careblend powder ‘Medium deep’ for bronzer, Warm Soul Blush, Soft and Gentle Highlighter. Lips were M.A.C Spice Lipliner, Honeylove Lipstick & Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre in Bardot Beige.

FullSizeRender-1 Look 1 Completed!

FullSizeRender-3

For the second look I didn’t have to change too much, I pretty much kept the face the same but changed up the eyes and lips. For the eyes I used my Tom Ford Cognac Sable palette, mixed the dark brown & copper shades and applied to the lid. I applied Makeup Geek’s Immortal Gel liner in the water line & around the eyes, bringing it to a point in the inner corner ( I did this using an angled brush). I then added Makeup Geek corrupt to smoke out the lower lash line & also used a bit of Cocoa Bear to blend it out. Lips were YSL Creme Blush #2 & Sephora Lip stain 02 Peach Tart.

Look 2 Completed!

Loved working on this shoot, make sure you follow my IG (@heidimakeupartist) for sneak peaks on KYK HAIR upcoming educational hairstyling book, featuring not only my work, but that of so many other talented Melbourne artists!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Review

IMG_8603

One of the most talked about products as of recent has become the Charotte Tilbury Magic Cream. You may be asking what is so special about this cream? What makes it so different? Will it work for me? Is it worth the hype? – Let me tell you, I only bought this product because of how hyped up it was, I needed to check this thing out for myself, and it did not disappoint!

This stuff is literally sleep in a jar, when you apply it under your makeup it gives you the most beautiful radiance to your skin. Your skin will look plumped, fresh & hydrated making you look so much more youthful- lets be honest, who doesn’t want to look a couple years younger, eh? Created by one of the best in the industry Charlotte Tilbury, who used this product on all her models back stage to bring their skin back to life (doing runway shows back to back can really take the life out of your skin & make you look really dull & drained). Needless to say the name of this product suits it perfectly as it truly is MAGIC! Best thing about it is that it works for all skin types, that’s right EVERYONE can use it! It works wonders on women with mature skin – you better bet I have this is my freelance kit. This is an awesome moisturiser to add to you skincare
regimen, but I prefer to just for use on those mornings or even evenings when you’re looking a little tired & your skin needs a little life put back into it, the hyaluronic acid, rose hip oil, damask rose water & spf 15 in this moisturiser will give you that ‘I just had an amazing 8+ hour beauty sleep’ look. I love that this moisturiser doesn’t feel sticky or greasy, which is pretty hard to find in a heavy moisturiser. This isn’t technically a primer, but I love using this under makeup as it gives the skin such a beautiful, youthful glow – you literally look like you’re glowing from within!

I use this on all of my clients prior to applying any makeup, I let the skin absorb this for a good 20 minutes. I’ve noticed myself that this has made a huge difference in the overall outcom
e of my clients makeup. I apply only a small amount (you don’t need to use too much) and rub it into my clients skin in slow, circular motions.

IMG_8605

I purchased this from Net-a-porter.com for $105. It is pretty pricey, but you get a pretty generous amount, compared to other high end moisturisers. Worth the investment? Heck yeah it is!

Have you tried Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream? What did you think?

Birthday Makeup – Product Breakdown & ‘Baking’ Method

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of doing makeup on my good friend Kristina, who you guys might recognise as the beauty editor from dropdeadgorgeousdaily.com. For her birthday dinner, we went for a super highlighted/contoured look, with a bronze eye & big juicy Kylie Jenner inspired lips! Here is a full product breakdown on how I achieved this look.

IMG_3961

 BASE/FACE

So before anythingI always start with skincare. I think skincare is so important & certainly one of the, if not the most important part of the whole makeup routine. So for this I started off with the Embryolisse moisturiser all over her face & Sisley Instant Perfect in her t-zone, also making sure her under eyes are extremely hydrated I used Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream.  Before applying any face products I let it soak into the skin for a good 10-15 mins while I move onto eyebrows, of which I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder ‘Ebony’. For her Skin I used a mixture of Camouflage Cosmetics Foundation & Estee Lauder Double wear Foundation. Concealer was Kryolan Dermacolour set with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder. To set this I used the ‘baking’/’cooking’ method which is basically (as demonstrated below) packing on a loose powder underneath the eye, and also various parts of the face, I let it sit there for a good 10 minutes (give or take), this allows the product & emollient to sink into your skin for a smooth, pore less finish. I’ll be going into more detail about this in a future video. For the contour I used Bobbi Brown foundation stick ‘Almond’, MAC Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder ‘Medium Dark’ & NARS ‘Casino’ Bronzer. For Blush NARS Gilda & MAC ‘Warm Soul’ were used, and the highlight was Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed in ‘Moonstone’.

IMG_3962

EYES/LIPS

For the eyes, we kept it fairly simple (compared to what we usually do haha!) I first applied MAC Paintpot ‘Soft Ochre’ as a base, started off the look with blending in some Makeup Geek ‘Peach smoothie’ into the crease, then packed on MAC ‘Sable’ into the socket & blended upwards, a dark brown shade from the Tom Ford ‘Cognac Sable’ palette was pressed onto the lid. Eyeliner was Makeup Geek ‘Immortal’, also smudged into the powder lash line & blended out with MAC ‘Sable’. Kristina already had her lashes on but we stacked some Model Rock Lashes (cant remember the exact style) on top. Lips were just MAC Lipliner ‘Soar’.

Lime Crime Venus Palette Review + Swatches!

IMG_8568

You guys know how crazy obsessed I am with anything grunge, right? So of course when I heard about Lime Crime releasing the ultimate grunge palette, I knew I had to get my hands on it!

The Lime Crime Venus Palette consists of 8 gorgeous colours inspired by 90’s grunge, each shade is different from the other, there’s the amazing red toned browns, to some beautiful peach tones & a gorgeous orange based brown – which I absolutely love! The eyeshadows in this palette are so velvety & smooth, making them extremely easy to apply. What I love most about this palette, is not only the gorgeous shades it comes with, but mainly how crazy pigmented they all are, the colour payoff is so intense a little goes a long way! My favourite way to apply these shades is with a fluffy brush (Sigma E40 or MAC 217) if I’m applying it in my crease, or if I’m applying it on my lid I use a flat shader brush (MAC239) or my finger, which personally is my favourite way to apply any eyeshadow, I feel like when I apply the product with my finger I can really press it in & I’ve noticed this method really gives me the best colour payoff.

Here are swatches of all the shades in the Palette:

LIME CRIME SWATCHES

So do I think this palette is worth the hype? HECK YEAH! This is hands down one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes of all time, & definitely one of the most used in my collection. If you can get you hands on this I would definitely say go for it. The Venus Palette has been such a big hit, it has been sold out for quite a while. I’m not too sure when it’ll be back in stock but you can keep checking here: http://www.limecrime.com (I have been told that the Lime Crime website is currently down due to a data breach, but hopefully it’ll be back up in no time!)

Samer Khouzami Masterclass Recap + Exclusive interview

Hi loves! It’s been a minute since my last post, it literally feels like I last posted yesterday, turns out it wasn’t yesterday, but in September, WHAT?! Can someone explain to me why/how time slips by us so quickly? I guess somebody got a wee bit lazy (not me) haha  kidding! I am back with some new exciting things to come this year, starting with a recap of my experience at the Samer Khouzami Masterclass PLUS an exclusive interview with the mastermind himself.

SO, let me start off by telling you, this class was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Not only did I have the opportunity to sit in a class & be taught by one of the best artists in the world, but I also had the pleasure of being one of his models. And might I add, my face had never looked so flawless, I was BEAT.

The event was hosted by Clockwork Events  at the Marriott Hotel here in Melbourne, where over 50 artists, including myself, came together to learn the secrets of the trade from one of the best. We were seated in rows in one of the main events rooms & given paper & face charts to take notes, while we taking everything in. Photography was prohibited while he was teaching, which of course is understandable, because seriously what would be the point of teaching classes if they were going to be recorded & posted all over the net? Exactly, there wouldn’t be much of a point haha. Samer was very open about sharing his techniques with us, poured it all out & was very keen to answer all of our questions. He was very in depth taking his time to explain everything he was doing, the process from beginning to end. He talked us through his famous contouring & highlighting techniques, through to his renowned glamorous smokey eyes & even touched base on editorial makeup. The class had a total of 3 different looks on 3 different models, which were, natural, bridal & editorial. Each look was different & unique in its own way, it was great to see the different techniques used to create these fabulous looks. I met so many amazing fellow Melbourne artists & each one was amazing & talented in their own way, it was so inspiring to see & meet everyone & have made some amazing longterm friends!

Overall, it was an amazing event hosted by some amazing people, many thanks to everyone at Clockwork Events who were so kind &  fun to be around, really appreciated how professionally everything was handled & down to earth everyone was! Already looking forward to the next event here in Melbourne, who will I be seeing at the next Samer Khouzami Masterclass?

INTERVIEW WITH SAMER KHOUZAMI

How does it feel being back home after travelling the world for so long?!

I missed home so much the year that passed and getting back after my long traveling hours was overwhelming. However, visiting lovely countries all over the world and meeting talented make up artists was worth it.

How did it feel meeting so many women & men around the world who idolise you?

It is a wonderful feeling to know that I am actually inspiring people to achieve and to determine and also giving them my skills and experience of make up

Coming from a background in Graphic design, how did you discover your love for makeup?

It all happened by coincidence when I found out my talent and worked hard to develop it into something professional.

What inspired you to pursue it?

I fell in love with make up and being someone who loves perfection and love to see women beautiful was my main inspiration in addition to being into fashion and into the whole industry.

Was there ever a moment where you doubted yourself & wanted to give up?

I had experienced so much of these moments but my will and determination always overcame the doubt.

You said in your Masterclass that you are inspired by many things, art, music, nature, people. What has been to date, the thing that has inspired you most?

What inspired me the most is people and especially women’s faces and characters. When you look at a face and get to see its beautiful small details this is when you get inspired the most.

When you’re feeling down or stressed out, is there a song that always puts you in a good mood?

Well yes I love music and it always brings me good vibes. There’s no specific song for all times but when I love a song I keep on listening to it until I fall inlove with another.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be & why?

If I had to choose it will be london because it brings me good vibes and good energy. It is the center of the world with many facilities and lovely people.

Out of all the countries you visited on your tour, which one was your favourite?

I truly loved all the countries I have visited but Brazil’s experience was one of a kind and especially that i was a guest of honor for the beauty congress and got to know how much I was loved by the people there which gave me motivation to pursue  my work and gave me a huge sense on responsibility.

If you had the opportunity to do makeup on any person you wanted, who would you choose & why?

This special person would be Queen Elizabeth since she has a very special character and women with characters attract me alot in addition to her age since I am more into doing make up for mature and wise women.

What is the best advice you can give to someone wanting to pursue a career in makeup?

Believe in yourself. Have confidence in your talent. Never stop learning.

Everyone should be determined to achieve what he/she seeks for. They can work on learning how to see the technical details and be aware of the difference between each face and the other and recognize its beautiful details

What can we expect in your next World Tour?

It will be a total new experience with new techniques and secrets of make up. Expect this year’s tour to be more advanced and much more inspiring from last year.

Here are some fun photos from the event & with some of the amazing girls I met:

Lets Talk Skincare!

I’ve always kept my skincare very basic. To be honest, I never really used to use anything on my skin, as I just never felt it necessary. Until I started learning a lot more about skin & began wearing a lot more makeup daily I saw how my skin was being affected. I’ve been lucky, I’ve never had to deal with any bad acne breakouts on my face, just the occasional pimple here & there, but my biggest issue was always my dry skin, we’re talking dry like the Sahara Desert dry! I’m very dehydrated, I would hardly drink water, more so because I would forget to, this really affected the way I would apply my makeup because the second I’d put foundation on my face my skin would just suck it all up & my face would look very powdery, flakey & well, dry!  These past couple of months I’ve been drinking much more water & using a few products to help with hydration & prevent my skin from drying out.

Melrose Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil, I wish I had begun using Coconut Oil much sooner. I apply a small amount of the oil to my face & décolletage area every morning & night, this has helped so much with all the dry patches of skin I had around my face, particularly my cheeks. I prefer to use the Organic, unrefined kind, as it guarantees that I am not putting any other chemicals on my face.

Grown Alchemist Borago, Rosehip & Buckthorn Berry Oil has been a log time love of mine. I apply this to my under eye area morning, night & before makeup application as it is extremely hydrating & makes my eyes look a lot less puffy. I also feel that it makes my dark circles slightly less noticeable, depending on how dark they are that day.

IMG_7190

KIEHL’S Ultra Facial Cream Intense Hydration is what I apply after my Coconut Oil & Rosehip oil, I have used a range of different moisturisers but nothing can come close to this. It looks like your average moisturiser but when applied is extremely light, it in all honestly feels a bit like water! I dot this over my face & rub it in circular motions, my skin soaks it up almost instantly.

IMG_7185

I use the Glamglow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment about 2-3 times a week, to really give me that deep hydration I need. I leave this on for a good 15-20 mins & wipe off with a tissue, & I rub the remaining product into my skin. After using this my face literally feels like its drank a big glass of water, so hydrated & glowy.

IMG_7189

I use the Jericho Premium Pomegranate Facial Peel once every two weeks to really clean up my skin & get rid of any dry skin that may be lingering on my face. I think its great to use a facial peel every couple of weeks as it gets rid of dry skin, bacteria, leftover makeup/dirt & I’ve even found its helped get rid of some of my blackheads. I finish this off with the Jericho Moisturising Day Cream. ( I could not find a link, as it was bought from a kiosk at a shopping centre.)

So that’s everything! I pretty much do anything to keep that moisture in my face, you probably noticed i didn’t mention a cleanser or exfoliator, that’s because I don’t usually use either. As bad as it may seem, Although I have just started using the Purity Facial Cleanser. Will keep you updated on that!

Let me know in the comments if there is anything you think I should try!
